Value of Taka is now double than that of Pakistani rupee

The Pakistani rupee has lost its value significantly against the Bangladeshi taka over the years. Now, the value of the taka has become almost double against the Pakistani rupee.

According to data from a currency exchange site on Tuesday (September 21st), 198 Pakistani rupees are now being spent for 100 Bangladeshi takas.

But the picture after the independence was the opposite. At that time the value of 100 rupees of Pakistan was tantamount to 165 Bangladesh takas.

1 Bangladeshi Taka equalled to 1.98 Pakistani Rupee (1 Taka=1.98 Pakistani Rupee). Which means Bangladeshi Taka is trading stronger than Pakistani Rupee.
