For the FY20, the government had set a target to earn $38.2 billion
Bangladesh’s apparel exports have declined by 18.45% to $27.83 billion in the just concluded fiscal year 2019-20 as the Covid-19 pandemic slashed global demand.
According to National Board of Revenue (NBR) data compiled by BGMEA, Bangladesh earned $27.83 billion from apparel goods exports, down by 18.45% in the past fiscal year, which was $34.13 billion over the same period a year ago.
For the FY20, the government had set a target to earn $38.2 billion.
