People will be able to do banking activities from 10am to 1:30pm from tomorrow after a five-day shutdown.
The Bangladesh Bank asked banks on July 13 to carry out the limited banking activities every working day in keeping up with the ongoing restrictions on movement declared by the government to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
The limited banking hours will be continued until August 5.
Banks have been remained closed between July 20 and July 24 due to the weekends and holidays of Eid-ul-Azha.
Employees of banks will have to complete their relevant tasks within 3 pm, according to a Bangladesh Bank notice.
