Dhaka stocks edged up in the morning trade today, maintaining the upward trend for the fourth consecutive session.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, rose 73 points, or 1.11 per cent, to 6,674 at 12:30 pm.
Turnover stood at Tk 1,908 crore.
Of the securities, 113 advanced, 112 declined, and 145 remained unchanged.
The CASPI, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), went up 229 points, or 1.18 per cent, to 19,623.
Turnover stood at Tk 32 crore.
On the CSE, 96 stocks advanced, 63 fell, and 95 were unchanged until midday.
