Abu Farah Md Naser made BB deputy governor

The Financial Institution Division of the Ministry of Finance issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.

Abu Farah Md Naser will be the fourth deputy governor of the central bank.As per the notification his appointment was executed from March 11, 2021 and will continue till February 23, 2024.

Abu Farah Md Naser also served as executive director of BB. He was serving as general manager of the central bank’s Banking Regulation and Policy Department.

Completing his master degree in accounting from Dhaka University, he joined the central bank as an assistant director in 1988.
