The government has appointed Nazrul Huda, a former deputy governor of the central bank, as a member of Bangladesh Bank’s Board of Directors.
With 35 years of central banking experience, Mr Huda also worked for international organisations and was an advisor of Maldives Monetary Authority on secondment from Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
The senior central banker did his post-graduation in economics from University of New England, Australia and University of Dhaka.
