The Canada-based Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) has given recognition to the Office of the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) under the ICT Division in issuing three digital certificates–website trust seal, BR-SSL and EV-SSL.
After completion of a web trust audit by CA Browser Forum on August 26, the CPA gave the root CA certificate to the CCA office, Bangladesh recognizing its quality in issuing the three services, said a press release on Sunday.
With the recognition, digital signature certificates from local license holding certifying authorities will be acceptable in the international arena, it said.
