SCB’s sixth board meeting held

The sixth meeting of the Board of Directors of Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh for the term of 2022 and 2023 was held in its own office’s conference room at Dhanmondi in Dhaka on Wednesday, said a press release.

SCB chairman Md Rezaul Karim presided over the meeting.

The meeting approved the minutes of the previous meeting, accounts statement and new membership. Besides, the board decided to participate in the upcoming “Colombo International Maritime and Logistics Conference” to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on November 1 and November2, 2022.

A delegation lead by Md Rezaul Karim will attend the conference, the release read.

Senior vice-chairman Md Ariful Ahsan, vice-chairman AKM Aminul Mannan Khokon and directors Md Munir Hossain, Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan, Syed Md Bakhtiar, Md Nurussafa Babu, Ziaul Islam, Ganesh Chandra Saha, Ataur Rahman Khan and KM Arifuzzaman also attended the meeting.
